| WHO: Nancy Kiang, Jianwu Tang (grad student in Ye Qi's lab) WHERE: Tonzi Ranch WHEN: Overnight at Jackson Gold Lodge, Thurs-Fri, 7/19-7/20/2001 WEATHER: Thurs 88°F, Fri 84°F, clear skies. WHAT: Measure pre-dawn and midday leaf water potentials and Leaf Area Index of transects. Fix heaters to Trees 248 and 252. Fix lower thermocouple needle to Tree 255. Jianwu Tang also measured soil respiration. 6/19/01. Arrived 3:30 pm Daylight Saving Time. 14:45 -17:12 pm Standard Time. Interrupted Sapflow Set Q (MD9-4) to check sensors. -Installed Heater #22 on Tree 248, Heater #23 on Tree 252. -Tree 255 lower TC sensor, which was previously exhibiting -6999, is now working fine, not sure why. -Re-loaded sfboot.csi onto CR10X-4 at 16:53 Std Time. File had a text error in first line that prevented Edlog from opening file (had to edit in Wordpad and re-type a closing bracket." }"). -Overnight at the Jackson Gold Lodge. |
