Returned from factory rebuild. Major kit with bearings, tip seals, pin crank shafts, and crank shaft. From the factory: "The pumps run very hot at 140torr and it's causing some thermal breakdown of the grease and early bearing failure. What we have done is to pack your bearings with grease around an extra 50% by weight and we think this should get you a longer run life between rebuilds. I think we can expect this pump to make the 12 month mark and maybe longer." |
