Daphne and I arrive at about 11:30 PDT. It was clear, sunny and warm with a nice breeze. The breeze seemed to swing around from west to south and back to west. It looks much drier than last time. The pond still has a good amount of water and is ringed by green. Some of the trees still seem to have fresh green leaves especially near their tops.

I did soil moisture, DBH and manual well measurements. Tree 79 needs the smaller gauge glued back on to the DBH meter. Its DBH was read as the left edge of the slider.

The road well was only reading 0.8ft but there is no more cable to lower the sensor unless we move the logger from its post over to the well pipe. The battery was still okay at 12.2V. The clock was 13min ahead and was reset from 12:38 to 12:25.

Daphne collected the data and did the z-cams.
Tonzi Tower: 410ppm CO2, 588mmol/m3 H2O, 24.4C, 98.8kPa, 108SS
Tonzi Floor: 406ppm CO2, 570mmol/m3 H2O, 30.7C, 98.8kPa, 98SS--> 100 after cleaning

No photos from the phenocam, but no problems found. After putting the card back it was sending photos â€“ though it skipped one initially.

I did midday water potential. The oak trees seemed to work okay. I could not find tree 92 and tree 35 seems to be dying. The pines were more difficult and I was not sure whether to just do a needle bunch or twig with many needle bunches. The old pine tree doesnâ€™t have many green needles low enough to reach. The tank pressure was a little over 1000psi.
