7024 | 2024-11-13 | Lab none | For Resuse | Lab none | Marked for reuse |
4396 | 2020-02-25 | Lab | Notes | Lab | We removed the pressure controller from this unit for use in the other LGR sn 08-0114. We did not reinstall a pressure controller. |
2526 | 2014-05-20 | Lab none | Damaged | Lab none | After being moved, but not treated roughly, the analyzer stopped reporting CH4. The ring time is variable from 2 to 20usec and the spectrum looks odd. Cleaning the mirrors made no difference. LGR thinks there is something wrong with the laser. At this time there is an 8 week wait for repairs and a minimum cost of 00 for cleaning and calibration - any repairs would be an additional cost. We don't need this analyzer right now and will wait to repair it. |
1819 | 2014-01-10 | Sherman Island | Removed | Lab none | Removed from the box at Sherman due to low pressure readings. Replaced by sn 08-0114 |
1026 | 2013-06-18 | Lab none | Installed | Sherman Island | Installed at Sherman by Cove to replace sn 08-0114 that was refusing to boot. |

1495 | 2012-01-25 | Twitchell Rice | Calibration | Twitchell Rice | With the new external filter I calibrated the LGR. The cal tank has <200psi of 3.276ppm CH4. Last calibration was Dec 20, 2011.
Pre Cal: 8:49PST, 29.61C, 156.07Torr, 13.871usec, 3.282ppm, 1Hz The first try at calibration failed somehow ending in a value (3.317ppm) farther from the span gas. A second calibration seemed to work fine and ended up right on. When I left the LGR read 9:56PST, 23.93C, 153.81Torr, 13.060usec, 10Hz, 2.311ppm |
1494 | 2011-12-18 | Twitchell Rice | Calibration | Twitchell Rice | All was running. The LGR read:
9:04PST, 31.36C, 97.41Torr, 13.973usec, 10Hz, 2.964ppm I calibrated the LGR with secondary tank with 3.276ppm CH4 at 250psi. Last cal was 2011-11-22 Pre cal: 9:12PST, 30.18C, 124.54Torr, 13.972usec, 1Hz, 3.200ppm Pressure was a little low but okay. After cal the LGR read 3.271ppm. I adjusted the bypass valve to bring the pressure to 146Torr in high flow mode. I returned the LGR to 10Hz before leaving. |
1493 | 2011-11-22 | Twitchell Rice | Calibration | Twitchell Rice | We calibrated the LGR with a 3.276ppm tank with 400psi. Last cal was Oct 10, 2011.
9:56PST, 9.53C, 156.07Torr, 14.341usec, 1Hz, 3.357ppm After cal it was right on. When we left it was back in high flow at 10Hz and pressure was about 141Torr, I did not adjust the bypass valve. |
1492 | 2011-10-27 | Lab none | Installed | Twitchell Rice | Installed to replace sn 08-0114 since in slow flow mode there was zero flow. |
422 | 2011-10-10 | Lab none | Calibration | Lab none | I calibrated the LRG with the god bottle and then used it to check two secondary standards. God bottel is 1.8978ppm CH4 and 350psi. Last calibration was 2011-08-23 using 3.276ppm CH4.
Precal: 9:32PST, 23.79C, 156.56Torr, 14.715usec, 1Hz, 1.855ppm Postcal the CH4 read 1.897ppm. The older secondary standard with 405.85ppm CO2 read 4.675ppm CH4 The newer secondary standard with 410.49ppm CO2 read 3.228ppm CH4 |
421 | 2011-10-10 | Lab none | Maintenance | Lab none | No flow in low flow mode. The internal 2um after the pressure controller seemed okay. I disassembled the inlet tubing and fittings to get a 10um filter out from infront of the pressure controller. This was completely plugged. I rinsed it with degreaser and DI water and dried it by blowing air through it. Flow was better but still seemed low. I reinstalled the filter and reassembled the inlet tubing. Now is slow flow the internal pressure is 156Torr. |
401 | 2011-09-02 | Loaned | Returned | Lab none | This analyzer was returned by Frank after completion of their chamber campaign. |
398 | 2011-08-22 | Lab none | Loaned | Loaned | Loaned to Frank for chamber campaign in Twitchell ponds during the week of August 22nd, 2011. |
386 | 2011-08-16 | Lab none | Calibration | Lab none | See calibration log. I also set the time to local standard time and changed the serial settings to 115200. I left it in high flow and shutdown so it should boot correctly next time. |
385 | 2011-08-12 | Lab none | Repair | Lab none | This analyzer was removed from the field because it would not boot. Connecting the hard drive to a computer running Knopix Linux I could see that the drive was full and deleted some of the data files. Then it would boot but the analyzer software would crash and kick out into the service shell. There I could see that a bunch of the *.ini files in the icos folder were zero length. LGR was able to email me a copy of these files and replacing them seemed to fix the problems. |
374 | 2011-06-10 | Twitchell Rice | Removed | Lab none | Removed from Twitchell island because it was hanging up during boot. Frank discovered it on June 6th. |
1488 | 2011-03-22 | Twitchell Rice | Calibration | Twitchell Rice | Pre cal: 8:42PST, 17.16C, 156.57Torr, 17.042usec, 1Hz, 3.347ppm about 70ppb off.
Post cal: 3.277ppm Before we left the LGR read: 8:55PST, 17.42C, 149.22Torr, 17.068usec, 10Hz, 2.176ppm |

262 | 2010-11-29 | Factory | Returned | Lab none | Returned from factory repair. Replaced internal plumbing, throttle valve, solenoid valve, partical filter, laser driver board and cavity mirror. 41.72 total. Broken parts returned with analyzer. |
261 | 2010-10-19 | Lab none | Repair | Factory | This FMA was sent to the factory for repair. RMA 10-0139 |
312 | 2010-10-01 | Twitchell Rice | Removed | Lab none | The air conditioning had failed or been over come by unusually hot weather and the box got really hot (~60C). The LGR had crashed but the pump was running. Starting at stopping the pump and LGR might have back flushed fine particals into the cell. The ring time was down to 4usec. I removed the LGR for mirror cleaning. |
